  • Workshops
    Date
    9 April
    Duration
    10h – 18h with lunch break
    Price
    50€
    Participants
    Min 4 – Max 8
    Required skills
None, but it is advised to have already a project to work on

In this workshop, we will get to know risograph printing. We will start with how the machine works, analysing the production processes that determine its characteristics, limitations and strengths. Afterwards, we will see numerous examples of books, brochures, prints in general to get an idea of what is possible, and how various illustrative, graphic, and artistic techniques are transformed by the printing process. After lunch, there will be time to work on a series of A3 posters from materials that each participant will have brought, to be printed in a series of 20 copies.

This workshop is designed to provide some initial answers and suggestions on how to approach artistic, graphic or editorial production with this technique: "How do my drawings look when printed in rice? What about my photos? What colours can I use for this project? I have an idea in the drawer, but I don't know how to go about it!" If you are asking yourself these and other questions, this is the workshop for you!

  • Reading Groups

To help us imagine alternatives to the current alienating and futureless capitalistic reality, we want to organise reading groups that discuss political, theoretical and literary texts. We’re particularly interested in texts from non-Western, non-white, feminist and queer perspectives. Each meeting will consist of a reading and a discussion. Our intention is to help each other understand and, if necessary, translate the texts together. Please contact us if you have any suggestions or would like to join a group!
